“I have sometimes been ready to think that the passion for Liberty cannot be equally strong in the breasts of those who have been accustomed to deprive their fellow creatures of theirs. Of this, I am certain that it is not founded upon that generous and Christian principle of doing to others as we would that others should do unto us.”
John Adams on March 31, 1776, in a letter to his wife Abigail (spelling modernized)
Making a pilot for an epic adventure series
In August 2023, we filmed a preview pilot in Alabama. It tells a piece of the April 18, 1775 story, the night before the Lexington and Concord battles. In many respects, it’s the night before the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. We might think we know the story but we have several surprising historical turns as the colonial town of Lexington prepares for what they have every suspicion to think is an assault on their freedom. Now, we are looking for further funding, partnerships, and distribution to film a series.
